How to Play Online French Roulette by BGaming?
French Roulette distinguishes itself from other Roulette variations due to its unique table layout.
The game consists of a ball, a wheel and numbers that are colored black and red, ranging from 1 to 36. Additionally, there is a single green slot marked 0. This version of roulette, which includes only one zero pocket reduces the house edge. In American Roulette there is also an additional zero, which is marked as 00.
French Roulette offers a feature known as La Partage, which allows for the return of half of losing bets if the winning number is 0. This rule applies on Low/High, Odd/Even and Red/Black bets. For example, if you make a $10 bet on RED and the outcome is 0, then you lose your bet and get a return of half your bet, which in this case is $5.
Technical Instructions
- Place your bet — Select the betting field of your preference. You can place multiple bets on various fields.
- Select a chip — Click on the desired chip located at the bottom of the table.
- Increase your bet — Each time you click on a betting field, an additional chip is added to your stack’s total value.
- Remove your bet — Click on the betting field and select the CLEAR BET option found on the left side of the table.
- Remove all the bets placed — Click the NEW BETS button located at the bottom right corner of the table.
- Play again — Click the NEW BETS button to reset the table when you wish to start a new game.
- Repeat your bet — REBET is the option to use when you want to continue with the same stakes as in the previous round.
- Total bet — To view the total amount you are betting, check the bottom right corner of the table.
- Balance — To see your current player balance, look at the bottom left corner of the table.
- Play — Place your bet and click SPIN. After a moment, the ball will settle in one of the slots, and the number of that slot will be deemed the winning number in this game. Depending on the type of bet you placed, you will receive a payout.
Bets Explained
Inside Bets
- Straight (Payout 35:1) — This bet is focused on a single number. You can place it on an individual number, including 0.
- Split (Payout 17:1) — This wager encompasses 2 numbers. You may place your bet on two adjacent numbers, either horizontally or vertically. Position your bet on the line that separates the two numbers. Your winnings will come from one of the 2 numbers you selected.
- Street (Payout 11:1) — Wager on the external right line that corresponds to the 3 numbers you are betting on. This bet covers 3 sequential numbers.
- Trio (Payout 11:1) — This wager includes 3 numbers. You can bet on the following combinations: 0, 1 and 2 or 0, 2 and 3. If you opt for this choice, place your bet at the exact intersection point of the specified numbers.
- Corner (Payout 8:1) — This bet includes any 4 numbers that create a square formation. Position your bet at the intersection point of these numbers.
- Six Line (Payout 5:1) — This wager covers 6 numbers. You can place your bet on two adjacent streets. In this scenario, place your bet on the line where these 2 columns intersect.
Outside Bets
- Column (Payout 2:1) — This wager encompasses 12 numbers. You have the option to place your bet on 12 numbers across any of the 3 horizontal lines (columns). Position your bet in the box located at the end of each column.
- Dozen (Payout 2:1) — The wager is made in one of the three boxes labeled P12, M12, or D12. For P12, place your bet on the first group of 12 numbers: 1–12; for M12, bet on the second group of 13–24; and if you select D12, your bet will cover the numbers from 25 to 36.
- Low/High (Payout 1:1) — This wager, Also known as MANQUE/PASSE, includes 18 numbers. You can choose to bet on either the first eighteen (Low Bet) numbers (1–18) or the last eighteen (High Bet) numbers (19–36). The bet does not apply to 0, as it is not classified as either high or low. If 0 is the winning number, even-money bets are refunded to players at half the amount. To place this bet, you should put it in the MANQUÉ or PASSE box in the external betting area.
- Odd/Even (Payout 1:1) — Place your wager in the box labeled IMPAIR or PAIR, betting on any odd or even number. The number 0 is neither odd nor even, and no bets can be placed on it.
- Red/Black (Payout 1:1) — Place your bet in the box featuring a red or black diamond. You are betting on which color will appear when the wheel stops. The number 0 is neither red nor black, and no bets can be placed on it.
Call Bets
Bets placed on the racetrack at the top of the table, and eventually form the number structure on the wheel.
- Jeu Zero (Game Zero) — These are the seven numbers from 12 to 15 on the wheel. To place this bet, you will need 4 chips. Click on JEU ZERO on the racetrack. The chips should be arranged as follows: one chip as a split bet on 0 and 3, one chip as a split bet on 12 and 15, one chip as a straight bet on 26 and one chip as a split bet on 32 and 35. Payouts refers to the bets made — one straight bet (35:1) and three split bets (17:1 for each bet).
- Les Orphelins (The Orphans) — This bet covers two areas on the wheel that are not included in any other of call bets. Click on ORPHELINS on the racetrack to make this bet. You will need 5 chips arranged as follows: one chip as a straight bet on 1 and split bets on 6 and 9, 14 and 17, 17 and 20, 31 and 34. 17 is covered by two split bets. Payouts refers to the bets made — one straight bet (35:1) and four split bets (17:1 for each bet).
- Voisins du Zero (Neighbors of Zero) — Betting on numbers from 22 to 25 the wheel. To place this bet, click on VOISINS DU ZERO. You will need 7 chips arranged as follows: one chip as a trio bet on 0, 2 and 3, one chip as a split bet on 4 and 7, one chip as a split bet on 12 and 15; one chip as a split bet on 18 and 21, one chip as a split bet on 19 and 22, one chip as a corner bet on 25, 26, 28 and 29, and one chip as a split bet on 32 and 35. Payouts refers to the bets made — one trio bet (11:1), five split bets (17:1 for each bet) and one corner bet (8:1).
- Tiers du Cylindre (Third of Cylinder) — Betting on numbers from 27 to 33 the wheel. To place this bet, click on TIERS DU CYLINDRE. You will need 6 chips arranged only as split bets — one chip on each of these splits: 5 and 8, 10 and 11, 13 and 16, 23 and 24, 27 and 30, 33 and 36. Payouts refers to the bets made — six split bets (17:1 for each bet).
- Number and its Neighbours — This bet can be placed on any number on the racetrack. It encompasses 5 numbers: the chosen number and the two adjacent numbers on either side of it. Payouts refers to the bets made — five straight bets (35:1 for each bet).
